Welcome Volunteers,

It is the policy of the North Adams-Jerome Public School District to perform a background check using the Internet Criminal History Access Tool (ICHAT) and the Offender Tracking Information System (OTIS) provided by the Michigan State Police. These tools will disclose any conviction information on record in the State of Michigan and will be used by the North Adams-Jerome Public School District to determine eligibility to be a volunteer for the district. This background check will be performed for initial volunteer work, as well as at anytime that the North Adams Jerome Public School District deems it necessary. A background check authorization is valid for one school year.
